I had the distinct honor of being invited to Gracie Mansion to attend Mayor Michael Bloomberg's breakfast reception for the Navy this morning. I ran into a number of sailors who I had met earlier this week on the USS Iwo Jima. Bloomberg spoke, as did Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus who spoke beautifully about the strength and skill of his men. It was a beautiful garden breakfast with beautiful weather, and wonderful to see the Mayor honor our Navy!
